Not Boring Yet

So I have news! I won! I don't remember if I mentioned anything, but a few months ago I was reading one of my favorite magazines and they happened to be having a graphic design contest. I was rather excited so I decided to enter. The job was to design a t-shirt. After much concentration and asking different people I came up with a design. Here it is.




Well two days ago I checked the Breakaway Magazine website to see the winners. I scrolled through the other categories until I got to the graphic design section. I looked at the first place shirt, decided how I would have designed it differently and then moved on to the second place shirt.

That's when I fell off the chair. (Mind you, I was in the library.)

Well, to be honest, I didn't fall off the chair, but pretty close. I was staring at my shirt! Right in front of me was the shirt that I had designed! I won second! Pretty exciting, huh? (Just so you know, they have my name spelled wrong...I talked to them about it and they should be changing it, but as of today it still says "Matthew." Oh, how that name plagues me.)
